Established in 2013 by Deb Kelly, WISE Women’s (We’re Informed, Secure, and Empowered! Women) goal is to unite and inspire not only Deb’s clients but also women in the community, so they can be empowered to make better, more knowledgeable decisions for themselves and their families. The group strives to bring women together to connect, build relationships and expand their awareness of topics such as finance, health and nutrition, and more. By providing members with regular commentary and resources as well as opportunities to join in events throughout the year, WISE Women strives to bring members together to celebrate successes, share in collective expertise and enjoy fresh perspectives.
Opportunities for members – and occasionally their “WISE Guys” – to connect and share in joint experiences happen throughout the year. In the past, events have included discussing financial markets and how they affect retirement plans, self-defense classes, reviewing year-end tax strategies with a local Certified Public Accountant (CPA), learning how to manage being members of the sandwich generation and more.
